Meet the Founders
Angela Miller is a dedicated healthcare leader with over 13 years of experience in long-term care. Her career began as a Certified Nursing Assistant (C.N.A.), where she developed a strong foundation in compassionate, hands-on care. However, it was the deeply personal experience of placing her own mother in a nursing home that truly ignited her passion for transforming senior care. That journey gave her a unique perspective on both the operational complexities and the emotional realities families face, inspiring her lifelong commitment to raising the standard of care.
Angela's mother had a lifelong love of lighthouses, making the name Beacon especially meaningful. Through her own care journey, she became the guiding light that led Angela into the long-term care profession. Inspired by her mother's strength and the symbolism of a beacon—a source of guidance, hope, and safety—Angela founded Beacon with a simple but powerful mission: to be the shining light for healthcare organizations, caregivers, residents, and families navigating the complexities of senior care.
As a Licensed Nursing Home Administrator licensed in multiple states, Angela has successfully led and operated a wide range of long-term care facilities. She holds both a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Healthcare Administration, is certified in Infection Prevention and Control, and has served as a lobbyist for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society, advocating for meaningful healthcare policy improvements. Her diverse experience reflects both her expertise and unwavering dedication to advancing the long-term care industry.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Angela is the proud mother of two boys who inspire her every day to grow as a mother, mentor, leader, and woman. She believes exceptional leadership begins with compassion, integrity, and a commitment to serving others—values that guide every aspect of her work and define the heart of Beacon.

Maggie Eder is the Co-Founder of Beacon Healthcare Solutions, LLC, bringing more than a decade of experience helping long-term care providers strengthen operations, improve regulatory outcomes, and build high-performing teams.
Throughout her career, Maggie has partnered with assisted living communities and senior care organizations to navigate operational challenges, achieve survey readiness, and create sustainable systems that support both quality care and business success. Her expertise spans operational leadership, regulatory compliance, quality improvement, interim management, project implementation, and strategic consulting.
Prior to founding Beacon Healthcare Solutions, Maggie served as Chief Operating Officer for a rapidly growing healthcare consulting firm, where she played an integral role in scaling the organization, developing consulting services, leading complex client engagements, and building a team focused on delivering measurable results across the nation.
Known for her collaborative leadership style, Maggie believes the best solutions come from working alongside clients—not simply advising them. She is passionate about creating practical, lasting improvements that empower leaders, strengthen teams, and improve outcomes for the residents they serve.
